D&R Greenway Johnson Education Center, Princeton, NJ

Each spring, we host a celebration to recognize and reflect on what it means to self-direct one’s own education. We invite a variety of teens, parents, volunteers, and board members to speak on what self-direction means to them, and we recognize one person from our larger community who we feel exemplifies a self-directed life.

We encourage all to attend, and to consider making a donation to support our centers which make self-directed learning a viable option for teens.

2018 Self-Directed Learning Award

Nominate a successful person in the community who took a non-traditional path through their teenage years.
