April 29, 2017, 2-4pm
D&R Greenway Johnson Education Center, Princeton, NJ

Each spring, we host a celebration to recognize and reflect on what it means to self-direct one’s own education. We invite a variety of teens, parents, volunteers, and board members to speak on what self-direction means to them, and we recognize one person from our larger community who we feel exemplifies a self-directed life.

At the 2017 celebration we will be honoring Princeton Record Exchange owner Jon Lambert with the Self-Directed Learning Award. The Princeton Record Exchange is listed as one of the best music stores in America by Rolling Stone magazine, CNN, Time magazine and others.

We encourage all to attend, and to consider making a donation to support our centers which make self-directed learning a viable option for teens.
